2021 Lichtenwalter Vineyard pinot noir

2021 Pinot Noir from Lichtenwalter Vineyard, located on Ribbon Ridge Road.
The Lichtenwalter vineyard is located approximately two and a half miles down the road from our Estate on Ribbon Ridge. It is a cool site, sheltered from the winds but with a beautiful exposure to early eastern sunshine.  Our first, but certainly not the last bottling from the vineyard of our Ribbon Ridge friend and neighbor.
The Lichtenwalter Vineyard Pinot Noir is beautiful, well-structured and food-friendly.  This ruby-colored wine features sweet tobacco notes and orange peel flavors at the back of the palate. Sourced from a vineyard located approximately 2 miles down the road from our Estate tasting room, the Lichtenwalter Vineyard is an excellent representation of the earthy and dark-fruited pinots grown in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. If you intend to enjoy this wine promptly, we recommend decanting it.
