2022 Dukes Vineyard Dijon pinot noir

The 2022 Pinot Noir from Dukes Family Vineyard is a captivating blend of Dijon 777 and Dijon 667 clones, each contributing unique characteristics to the final wine. The Dijon 667 clone brings a deep, dark fruit profile with richness and complexity, while the Dijon 777 expresses a lifted, pure brightness that we love to showcase from select vineyards. This wine opens with a definitive minerality on the nose, followed by layers of juicy cane fruit, bright raspberry, and a streak of vibrant acidity. The interplay between the vineyard’s rocky soils and cool nighttime temperatures yields intense tannins that soften into a beautifully long, refined finish, capturing the unmistakable essence of Eola-Amity Hills.

2021 Estate Pinot Noir

93 Points, Wine Spectator

"Richly structured and vibrant, with refined raspberry and guava flavors that take on cinnamon, orange-tinged tea and savory spice notes. Finishes with velvety tannins. Drink now through 2031."

- Tim Fish, Wine Spectator

This is an exceptional bottling from one of the best growing years in memory. The wines are rich, dark fruited and beautifully structured.  2021 will be remembered as having unprecedented heat spikes; while younger wines suffered, more mature vines flourished. At Eminent Domaine we embrace rich fruit flavors, and the '21 vintage complimented our house style.

2020 Chehalem Mountain Pinot Noir

Located on Caulkins Road in the foothills of the Chehalem Mountains AVA, this vineyard  features  Wilakenzie Sedimentary Soils and beautiful exposure. This is a wine that was never released in to the wine club, and is exciting to share in the tasting room starting in 2024.The 2020 growing season that was moderate, and small with tiny flavorful clusters. It was ultimately marked by the fires that started in early September just as the growing season was wrapping up. We decided to let the fruit continue to hang and ripen as needed and picked in late September. We only made a third of the barrels of a typical year. Even so, we were unsure of how the limited wines that we produced would age, and it's been encouraging to see that the wines have softened and the fruit has integrated beautifully - just as a well made pinot noir does on a "typical" vintage.
