2022 Estate Pinot Noir
The 2022 Estate Pinot Noir captures the essence of Ribbon Ridge AVA with its vibrant ruby hue and a bouquet of cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with earthy undertones and a hint of mushroom. The cool start and extended summer lend to its bright acidity and lively character. On the palate, expect a medium-bodied wine with fine-grained tannins, floral notes, and distinctive Ribbon Ridge minerality. The finish is long and elegant, offering great aging potential.

THE VINTAGE
The 2022 wine harvest in Oregon saw favorable conditions for vineyards, especially after the challenging snow and frost in mid-April. The growing season started with a cool spring, delaying bud break and flowering. However, the summer brought moderate warmth and sunshine, allowing the pinot noir vines to catch up. With the delayed start to the growing season, we were lucky to have a beautiful extended summer and harvest that extended into late October; the weather held steady with minimal rain, resulting in excellent fruit quality. Yields were average to slightly above, with balanced acidity and concentrated flavors, making for a promising vintage across the valley.
