2019 Estate Pinot Noir
The Estate bottling continues to be our flagship wine, representing the vines planted from the entry gate on the east side of the property to the vines planted nearest the oak tree on the West side of the property. Three clones are blended including the Pommard, Dijon 115 and Dijon 777. This aromatic bottling is smooth and lush. The palate ranges from cherries to red berry notes. Just bottled September 6th of 2020, we encourage you to cellar this beautiful bottle. Drink late 2021 to 2028.
THE VINTAGE
The growing season from bud break through harvest was more akin the 2013 vintage, with cool, wet weather in early September, and sunny days and brisk nights again in late September and early October. The harvest offered wines lower in alcohol, with delicate flavors and beautiful nuances.
