2024 White Pinot Noir

2024 White Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge AVA

We are excited for our first release of Estate grown White Pinot Noir. 

Not simply "Pinot Noir without the red color." This White Pinot retain some of Pinot Noir's characteristic perfume and texture while presenting the fruit in a much lighter register.

White Pinot Noir is made from Pinot Noir grapes vinified as a white wine. The key is minimizing contact between the juice and the dark skins, which contain the pigment responsible for Pinot Noir’s red color. Our approach is to harvest Pinot Noir relatively early for freshness and acidity, press the whole cluster grapes gently, and separate the juice from the skins immediately. The juice is then settled and fermented much like a white wine in stainless steel.

Pale gold in color, this White Pinot Noir opens with aromas of white peach, Meyer lemon, Asian pear and fresh citrus blossom, followed by subtle notes of honeysuckle and wet stone. The palate is bright and beautifully textured, balancing juicy stone fruit and citrus with lively acidity and a fine mineral character. Hints of pear skin and delicate red berry add depth, while a silky mid-palate carries the wine to a long, clean, refreshing finish.

Elegant, energetic and quietly complex, this is Pinot Noir expressed in its most delicate form—fresh, floral and mineral-driven, with enough texture to make it exceptionally food-friendly.
